Microdermabrasion creates soft, smoother looking skin.
Approximately every 28 days, skin creates a new layer and as new cells form, they push their way to the surface. This leaves a layer of dead/damaged skin cells behind which can cause enlarged and / or clogged pores, a bumpy uneven texture, and a dull appearance. As we age, the process slows, leading to the appearance of older skin with less radiance.
Microdermabrasion is a gentle exfoliation to remove the dry-skin layers of the epidermis and together with adjustable suction control, simultaneously stimulates the rebuild of collagen and elastin for firmer, healthier and younger-looking skin. This can be performed with a diamond tip applicator and or a jet of fine mineral (inert corundum aluminum oxide) crystals passing over the skin's surface. It's a quick, safe and effective form of exfoliation for all skin types and colours with no downtime and virtually no discomfort.
